ROB VAN DER GAAST

Rob, a dutchman, started his career as a print journalist in the Netherlands. He headed up the sports department of the prestigious National Dutch Radio between 1972 and 1980. He produced and directed TV programs, started his own sports-marketing company (Pro Sport) and was active in buying and selling of sports (mainly international football) TV rights. He also started and ran an international operating TV sports rights company for the Swedish company, Egon Håkanson. Rob also created and developed new sports programs and gambling products, for several companies, including the famous Dutch-based international production company Endemol (entertainment) and Novamedia (Dutch international lottery operator).

Rob produced - amongst others - over 50 in-depth European country and jurisdiction gambling files.

Since 2000, Rob van der Gaast has established his office in Istanbul.

He speaks Dutch, English, German, French and his Turkish is getting better every day.
