GamblingAnalysts.eu, working as a long-time scientific research institute and gambling analyst in Europe, finished a study on the gambling industry in North Cyprus. Until now, no such research has been executed in North Cyprus.
The gambling industry – casinos, (sports) betting, internet & mobile betting – is at this moment regulated and professionalized in North Cyprus. New serious players have entered the market and at present there are 23 casinos! North Cyprus has one of the highest densities of casinos in Europe.
The research study, 'The Good Fortunes of Gambling in North Cyprus', will add greatly to a more transparent and trustable gambling industry in the North part of Cyprus. North Cyprus is on the edge of many new developments: the passed money laundering law, the planned new casinos law and the new initiative to reunify the Greek and Turkish Cyprus.
In 2007 the very first international hotel and casino chain, Mercure Accor Hotels, opened its doors in North Cyprus. Another giant started its operations in 2007: Kaya Artemis Resort & Casino with 3,500 square metres Las Vegas-type casino, including a betting office and VIP Saloon. Above that, in 2008, another top-notch casino annex hotel, The Savoy in Girne, was added to the rich variety in gambling choices in North Cyprus.
At this moment two casino licenses are still available. Click here for a pdf of the table of content. Price: 750 € Pre-sale price: 500 € until May 1, 2009. The research study may be ordered via GamblingAnalysts.
